Support Sisterhood
I'm simply building a place where asking for help becomes easier — and where finding it becomes possible.
Hi, I'm Valerie. I have a full-time job in HR, a teenage son, a very demanding dog, and a mortgage. Sisterhood isn't my full-time job — it's what I build in the evenings, on weekends, and whenever I can steal a few extra hours.
So far, almost every crown has gone straight back into keeping the project alive. Right now, your support helps cover things like:
- AI tools that help me build the platform (Lovable, Claude, ChatGPT)
- Hosting, domain, and security
- Maps and other services that make the platform work
- Email delivery
- And yes — coffee (and the occasional prosecco) for the late nights
Many other tools we rely on are generously free for early-stage startups — PostHog, Sentry, Mixpanel, GitHub. They're a big part of why a project like this can exist at all.
At the end of June, Sisterhood passed a full independent security review — something I'm genuinely proud of, especially building this mostly alone.
The biggest challenge now isn't building — it's time. I can only wear so many hats. If Sisterhood is going to grow into something that truly helps thousands of women, I need to start delegating and building faster than I can alone.
Right now, venture investors aren't exactly lining up for a project like this — there's no cutting-edge AI, no defense angle, no rockets. Just a woman who wants other women to find help exactly when they need it.
