Our story

Why I built Sisterhood

I moved from Crimea to Prague at 20. Alone. No language, no connections, no safety net.

Twenty years later I've built a life here — raised a child on my own after divorce, founded a charity for Ukrainian children, learned what it means to need help and not know where to ask.

A few months ago my childhood friend came to visit after a hard time in my life. In one afternoon she fixed my toilet, replaced a socket in the bathroom, and repaired a tap.

That afternoon I understood something I'd always felt but never said out loud:

A woman will show up for another woman faster, better, and with more love than almost anyone else. We just need a safe place to find each other.

That's Sisterhood.

"In the same city, the same street, the same building sometimes. But we don't know how to find each other."

What we are

A women-only platform for real-life mutual help. Safe by design. Always free.

What we're not

Not a marketplace. Not a dating app. Not a chat lounge. No commissions, no payments, no algorithm deciding who deserves help. Just women showing up for women, in the city where they actually live.

You know that feeling

Sometimes you just need someone.

To pick you up at the airport.

To sit with your kid for two hours while you breathe.

To help you carry that damn sofa up three flights of stairs.

To listen — because she's been there too.

We're all around each other.

In the same city, the same street, the same building sometimes. But we don't know how to find each other.

That's why I built Sisterhood.
