Your safety is the one thing we're not flexible about.
Sisterhood was built by a woman who knows what it's like to land in a new city alone. Every part of the platform is shaped by that experience. Here is exactly what we do to keep you safe — and what to do if something still goes wrong.
Women only, safe by design
Every new member quietly confirms her identity with our trusted partner before she can post or message. It's a one-time, private check — your documents stay between you and the partner, are never shown to other members, and there's no badge or label on your profile. Safety is the baseline, not a status.
Privacy by default
We never display your full name, your exact address, or your phone number. You choose a first name or initial, a neighbourhood (not a street), and decide for yourself when to share more in a private chat.
Mutual reviews & karma
After every interaction both women leave a short, honest review. Karma is earned slowly and visibly, so trust is built — never assumed. A woman with a long track record of showing up is easy to spot.
Human moderation
Sisterhood is small enough that a real person reads every report. We aim to respond within 24 hours, usually faster. We can warn, suspend, or permanently remove anyone who breaks the rules.
Block, hide, report — one tap
From every post, message and profile you can block a member, hide content, or file a report. Blocked members can never see you or contact you again, even under a new post.
No money inside Sisterhood
We don't take a cut and we don't allow paid services. If someone tries to charge you, asks for a deposit, or pushes a 'business opportunity', report her. Sisterhood exists for help, not transactions.
We're here. Tell us.
If a member made you uncomfortable, broke a promise, asked for money, pushed past a boundary, or did anything that didn't feel right — please report it. You don't need proof. You don't need to explain it perfectly. A short message is enough.
- Use the Report button on the post, profile, or chat.
- Or email us directly at support@sisterhood.city.
- A real person reads every report, usually within 24 hours.
- Your identity is never shared with the person you reported.
If you're in immediate danger, please call the local emergency number first (112 in the EU). Then tell us, so we can protect the next sister.
